Keith Mabbutt is the current CEO and Founder of The Street Soccer Foundation.

Born in Chatham, Kent in 1979 Keith was educated at Maidstone Grammar School before going to University where he graduated in 2000 with a Management Bachelor's Honours degree.

As a footballer, Keith represented his District and County before joining Millwall as a Schoolboy. He later went on to join Gillingham and Charlton Athletic before an injury abruptly ended his professional career aspirations.

Putting the huge disappointment behind him, Keith moved into Recruitment and shortly thereafter launched his first company, a graduate recruitment business.

Over the following decade, Keith went on to launch three separate businesses back-to-back,
achieving exits for two of his companies, one including to Britain’s largest newspaper group,
Trinity Mirror.

Recognised by the Centre for Entrepreneurs and The Sunday Times as one of the UK's
most successful businessmen supporting the next generation, Keith has since become a
multi-award-winning serial entrepreneur and now leads the Street Soccer Foundation.

Formed in the Summer of 2015 after Keith learned about youth homelessness across the
Country listening to a radio interview; under Keith’s leadership, the Foundation has become
nationally acclaimed and now operates nationwide in partnership with several Premier League
Football Clubs and their community teams. All Club partners deliver the Foundation’s
flagship programme, the 'Street Soccer Academy’, viewed as the No.1 football-led project
tackling youth homelessness in England.

Listed in The Maserati 100 Index, shortlisted by the Great British Entrepreneur Awards as a
‘Social Enterprise Entrepreneur of the Year’ and having featured in Forbes; Keith’s mission and purpose is to MAKE A DIFFERENCE by harnessing the power of sport - and in particular, football - as a true catalyst for positive social change.

Alongside his role at the Foundation, Keith is also a Business Advisor, Personal Development Coach and Mentor to several other businesses, start-up entrepreneurs, and younger people.

THE FOUNDATION

streetsoccer-logo.png

The Street Soccer Foundation is an award-winning charity operating nationwide throughout England, using football as a catalyst to improve the lives of vulnerable and homeless young people across the Country.

Keith conceived the idea of the Street Soccer Foundation after learning of the plight of
homeless people in England and as an ex-footballer, the thought of using football as the
platform to attract, engage and inspire vulnerable young people was compelling.

The Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of driving change in the Country:

To bring the power of football into communities nationwide; and to inspire and encourage
vulnerable and homeless young people to turn their lives around for the better.

Since its initial collaboration, the Foundation has made huge strides in helping homeless and
vulnerable young people across the Country by educating, motivating and supporting them.

Keith is immensely proud to lead the Street Soccer Foundation. To learn more about the charity, please visit its official website: www.streetsoccerfoundation.org.uk.
